Determining FIR tap weights just got easier. LMS adaptation, performed using custom targets and slicer levels or a file of target values, is a button click away. Use as many taps as you like. Any tap may be held constant. You can even watch the trajectories of the tap weight values as they adapt on the data.

Analog-to-digital conversion or analog sample-and-hold of the FIR input and/or output is provided, as well as quantization of the tap weights.

Click and drag tap weights to see the frequency response and group delay of the FIR update automatically. To adjust timing, and for experimentation, adaptive fractionally spaced equalizers are supported.
